The service
AutoBimer provides decoded VIN information and records of public auction listings for informational purposes. It is not a vehicle inspection, a full vehicle history report, an appraisal or advice to buy or not buy a vehicle.
Accuracy
Information comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Absence of a record does not mean an event did not happen. Verify important facts with the original sources, the vehicle's documents and an in-person inspection before making a decision.
Acceptable use
- Do not use automated means to send large numbers of VIN lookups or to copy the site's content in bulk.
- Do not try to bypass rate limits or security measures.
- Do not use the service to identify, locate or harass vehicle owners.
Lookups for new VINs are limited per visitor per hour to protect the service.
Third-party content
Auction photos and listing details belong to their respective owners. Copart, IAA and other names are used only to describe the source of records. AutoBimer is not affiliated with them. Rights holders can request removal through the contact page.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AutoBimer is not liable for decisions made on the basis of information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
